How to get a newsroom account

Any staff or student with a Pheme account can register for a University News account.

First you will need to check with the coordinator of the website and work through the training material.

Once you have completed the training material and passed the test set by the Website Office, you can register for a new account:

  1. Go to the University News Log in / Register page.
  2. Log in using your Pheme staff ID number and password.
  3. Locate your username (displayed at the top of the page) and send it to the UWAs 'Digital' along with the name of the newsroom to which you'd like access.

With correct approvals the Website Office will then associate your username with your newsroom, so you can create and edit news articles.
